Privacy notice

1. Who is responsible?

ColorpageApp is a product of Futuredays (Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 68547390, VAT ID NL002247531B92). Futuredays is responsible for processing personal data in the app. Questions or requests can be sent to info@futuredays.nl or through the secure contact form.

2. For parents and guardians

ColorpageApp is designed for creative activities with children, but an account must be created and controlled by an adult aged 18 or over. Children may use the creative tools only under that adult's supervision. Do not let children enter or publicly share names, faces, contact details or other personal information.

Do you believe a child shared personal data without appropriate permission? Contact us. We will investigate and remove that information as quickly as possible.

3. Which information do we use?

• Account: Firebase user identifier and Google account information such as email address and chosen profile name.
• Creations: instructions, additional requests, uploaded photos and generated coloring pages.
• Coloring drafts: the coloring layer is saved automatically and locally in the browser on your device. It is not sent to our database as a separate creation.
• Ideas and feedback: the type of request, your description and the account used to submit the idea.
• Community gallery: chosen title, shared coloring page, tags, comments, likes, favorites and download counts.
• Payments: Mollie payment identifier, package, amount, currency and payment status. ColorpageApp does not receive complete bank or card details.
• Analytics (only with consent): Google Analytics 4 processes limited usage events, campaign information and general device category. We do not send instructions, images, names, email addresses or payment information.
• Technology and security: necessary server logs, timestamps, error messages and possibly IP addresses.

4. Why do we use it and on what legal basis?

• To provide your account, coloring pages and credits: performance of our contract.
• To process payments and keep financial records: performance of our contract and legal obligations.
• To review submitted ideas and improve ColorpageApp: our legitimate interest in product improvement.
• To prevent inappropriate content, fraud and abuse: our legitimate interest in providing a safe service.
• To show public creations: your deliberate choice to share a creation. You can remove it from the gallery again.
• Where consent is legally required, we ask first and you may withdraw it.

5. AI and content checks

Text instructions and uploaded images are processed through OpenAI to create a coloring page and to check content before it is generated or shared publicly. An automated check may block content. Contact us if you believe this was incorrect. It does not result in a decision with legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Service providers

• Google Firebase: sign-in, database and storage for images, contact requests and submitted ideas.
• Google Analytics: limited usage statistics, only after you give consent.
• OpenAI: image generation and safety checks.
• Mollie: payments and payment status.
• Telegram or a configured operational alert channel: an administrator notification when you submit an app idea, contact request or purchase cancellation request.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers: availability, security and technical logs.

These organizations process information only for their relevant task and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, valid transfer mechanisms and safeguards are used.

7. Sharing publicly

A creation only appears in the community gallery after you choose to share it. The coloring page, chosen title, profile name, tags and comments may then be viewed by anyone. Do not share personal data. You can remove your own creation from the gallery.

8. Retention periods

• We keep account information and private creations while the account exists or until you remove them.
• We keep submitted ideas and contact requests only for as long as needed to review and handle them, or until they are no longer needed.
• We keep shared creations and interactions until you remove them or delete your account.
• Open or failed payment attempts are kept only as long as needed for processing and fraud prevention.
• Paid transaction data and related cancellation requests are minimised and may be retained for up to seven years for tax administration and handling legal claims.
• Deleted information may temporarily remain in protected provider recovery copies according to the configured backup and recovery retention periods. These copies are not available in the app and are used only for security and disaster recovery.
• Security and error logs are retained for as little time as possible and cleared periodically.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account under Profile → Settings → Delete account. This removes your images, account, public contributions and interactions. Payment evidence may be retained without your Firebase user identifier where legally required.

10. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Email info@futuredays.nl. We may request information to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

11. Security and changes

We use measures including encrypted connections, restricted database and storage rules, server-side checks, access controls and moderation. No system is entirely risk-free. If important changes are made, we will update this page and the date above.
